About the Dashdodger

Find the ideal mounting location 

With the vehicle parked on a relatively flat surface, set the Dashdodger in a spot that doesn’t obstruct the operator’s view and test that the swivel/rotating mounting foot (part with the adhesive pad rotates and swivels for alignment and fitment to contoured surfaces) will allow for the Dashdodger to be mounted level. 

While holding the base, move the Dashdodger toy around to ensure that it is not obstructed by anything around it as it moves. 

Mounting  

Clean the chosen mounting location of dust with the provided wipe located in the bottom of the box.  

While holding the Dashdodger body, remove the backing paper from the adhesive pad and press the Dashdodger firmly onto the prepared surface.  Holding the Dashdodger body, rotate it until the toy is facing directly forward and then swivel it until the toy rests horizontally.  

Note: If below freezing, run vehicle’s heater until the mounting surface is warm to the touch to ensure proper adhesion.  

Removal  

Place a flat firm tool such as a putty knife between the vehicle surface and swivel base and gently and slowly pry upward until free. 

Do not pull on the Dashdodger to remove as it can cause damage.
